Scope

This policy describes how EV Fit Garage handles information on the public website while the catalog is browse-only (purchasing and payment are not active). It will be updated before checkout, accounts, or marketing programs go live.

Information we may process

• Contact notes you choose to send. The Contact page opens a draft in your own email app and does not post form fields to our servers. If you email the reserved support address, we receive whatever you include in that message.
• Technical server logs. Like most websites, our hosting stack may record standard request metadata (for example IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamps) for security, reliability, and abuse prevention. We do not sell this data.
• Cart state on your device. If you add items to a cart while browsing, cart contents may be stored locally in your browser (for example local storage) so the cart persists across page views. This is device-local until checkout exists.

We do not currently operate customer accounts, order history, or payment forms on this site. When purchasing opens, payment card data will be handled by the payment provider we enable — not stored as full card numbers on our application servers — and this policy will be updated with those details.

Cookies and analytics

As of this update, the public storefront does not load a third-party marketing or advertising analytics suite (for example we are not running Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar trackers named here for clarity). We may use essential / functional cookies or similar storage required for the site to work (session continuity, security, load balancing, or remembering basic UI preferences).

If we add optional analytics or advertising cookies later, we will update this page and describe those vendors before they are enabled. We will not invent vendor names that are not actually integrated.

Sharing

We use infrastructure providers (hosting, CDN, DNS, email transport when mail is live) to run the site. Those processors see technical data needed to deliver the service. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service.

Retention

Server logs are retained only as long as needed for security and operations. Email you send is retained as needed to respond and keep a basic support record. Local cart storage stays on your device until you clear it or your browser expires it.

Your choices

You can clear cookies and site data in your browser settings, and you can choose not to email us. If you previously emailed the reserved support address and want a copy deleted from our mailbox once mail is monitored, contact us with enough detail to locate the message.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
